If Apple does release a landscape qwerty for the iPhone, would it be as an update for the 3G or only for the V3?

Who knows if they ever will, but if they do, it'll most likely be for all iPhones.

There is no V3. Either way it would be for all iPhones.

I'm sure it would be a firmware update type thing. Just add it to the list of things Apple could easily give us but won't.
