Has anyone posted about this yet? The email about the sale on Friday at Apple.com. What could be on sale at Apple? Could it be a surprise 32g iphone?? I doubt it. Just for fun, any guesses on what they may do on Friday.
They did this last year too. I think they'll put some things on sale (10% off maybe) but don't expect anything new.

FYI: The sale is also taking place at "brick & mortar" Apple Stores. Mark

I think you are better off taking advantage of Best Buy's sale (which ends today). $100-$150 off MacBooks and iMacs.

Does Apple Store usually have sales on iPhone things such as cases for instance?

That's probably what it is, I have just never before seen a sale at the Apple store and I don't remember getting a sale email last year for black Friday. I was just curious is all.

its going to be the same in the UK the apple store/shops are going to be around 10% or so.
but hopefully it'll be an all round thing, which would be perfect for things like ipods for christmas presents etc

I went to one of the local Apple stores yesterday and of course the employees played it like they had no idea the "sales" that were going to be offered. They also told me to get there early to take advantage of the great sales they were able to tell me nothing about. No thanks.

haha lame!! here in the UK its not even 10%. In the Uk our VAT (tax on goods) has just been cut by 2.5 percent to 15% from Monday Dec 1st, so this Friday sale basically gives us that 2.5 percent discount 3 days early!! hahaha lame!

At the Apple store yesterday they had some astounding sales. /sarcasm
iPods were about $12 off and the iMac was $50 off. The only good deal was Microsoft Office for $148 instead of $499.
