Wow you sound pretty angry about all of this. To be honest I see your point. You need not run your blood pressure up over it all. From what I'm reading the iPhone seems like it is just not for you and may never be. I doubt that (for whatever reason Apple will not add MMS and Cut & Paste even though customers have been asking since day 1 for it) the iPhone ever will be for you. i sold my iphone to get a fuze JUST because of the fact that the iphone doesnt have MMS. mms is extremely important to me, and is used alot by my friends and i (college student, 20yrs) mms is not outdated... the people saying it is outdated have just moved on, like saying legos are outdated. just because you outgrew it, doesn't mean its outdated and useless for everyone else. using email is much more inconvinient.

since the iphone doesn't have mms, i sold mine to someone who would have bought a new one, and i bought a fuze, therefore apple lost profit, and a competitor gained profit.

the reason is marketing. People still buy the 3G knowning (most people) that there is no mms/copy and paste capabilities. Apple knows this product is selling and thats why they don't put out an update that could give us 3G owners this option. Yes but look at the post count of the people posting these complaints or questions. Most are new iPhone owners not long time owners. They need to be able to vent also. I assume they bought the iPhone believing it would preform such simple tasks. Maybe this is a good lesson for all of them. Read up on something before you buy it. The answer is sometimes no, usually when it pertains to MMS, copy/paste, video recording. This phone does plenty of other things that most other phones can't. You're missing the big picture. You try to convince people of the iPhone's greatness when it is quickly losing it's grip on the title (King of cellphones). Face it Honda Apple needs to step up and quickly or they will be left behind. In these times of "Need It Now" that we now live in. Apple's secretive "Wait And See" marketing model is getting old. Why do you think there is so much iPhone bashing going on. I'm bringing up C&P and MMS again. The simplest explanation is usually the right one. Apple doesn't do it to screw us up, or irritate people like NickT916, although I might get tempted. It may be because they have a grander view of things to come, or more likely that they can't yet, at least not in a smooth fashion that would integrate all the apps in a pleasing functional way.

As for the the video part: if taking less than 100 pics completely drains my battery, I don't want to know how many minutes of video would do the same.

They don't have copy and paste, mms or other things like that cause if it was all on this phone they wouldn't be able to put out another version cause this phone would be complete with everything. So leaving certain things out gives apple the need to put out a 3rd generation iPhone and so on. That's just my reason why it's not included.
By the way......did you guys know the T-Mobile Behold has a 5megapixel camera on it? I seen an add in a GQ magazine yesterday. And someone the other day said camera phones will never be any good.

I use Pastebud (http://pastebud.com/). The only drawback to this is that you can't copy from the URL window; only if a URL is written on a webpage. I hope the developers can figure a way to copy from the URL window.

Picazzo thats the problem while just about everyone has email very few people have access to their email from their cell phone.

I went to my home town a couple of weeks ago and my GF who also grew up where I did hasn't been there for years so I took some pictures of the house she grew up in and used my Storm to send them to her. If all I had was lets say a krazor there's no way she would have gotten those pictures unless I came home took the memory card out, uploaded them to my computer than emailed them to her. If I would have had to go through all that I would have said forget it and bought her an airplane ticket to see her old house in person lol

I totally agree, but that's not the concept. It's just that since we pay big money for the iPhone, we should have everything and every feature possible in it, especially there are only two versions of the iPhone (2G and 3G), unlike Nokia, Samsung, etc. phones. Otherwise, we would just go buy a $150 phone that has everything the iPhone does and even more.

I agree, the iPhone is the leader of the pack thats why I wont give mine up regardless of the fact that I also have the storm but do you realize how much better the iphone would be if (like I said earlier) one of the other cell phone manufacturers stepped up to the plate and actually gave Apple a run for their money?

Yes, they do (have mms and c&p in j/b), but I doubt that they function without problem between all the main Apple apps, and now all the new apps. If it's not perfect (or at least thought to be perfect), Apple will not release it. What we think of as a "simple" task, is probably a headache of maximum dimension with many interface pattern inconsistencies.
Or to say it simply: a nightmare.

True. I would use MMS a lot, but still use as much data as I have been for email, internet, etc.
