The following link is an animation I created entitled "iPhone Holography."

http://web.mac.com/iphone2007/iWeb/Site/iphone.html

I created it to 1) recognize the achievements of Apple employees, 2) create a slightly different form of iPhone commercial, and 3) practice certain animations techniques.

Please don't take it too seriously.

Enjoy,
Daniel

I like it all except for the lightbulb. I like the Lightbulb idea but It is too clear. I know its not supposed to be perfect but that would make it better. Other than that it was fantastic.

Daniel-
Great job. That's pretty amazing. What software do you use to create animations?

Thank you for the compliments. They are appreciated. I agree that the bulb glass is too thin.

Cheers,
Daniel

Chris,

I use NewTek's Lightwave 3D 9.0 for modeling, animation, and rendering.
For video and audio post-production I use Apple's Final Cut Studio Pro.

Hardware is an Apple Dual G5 (looking to upgrade to the new Intel-based
Mac Pros shortly) and a MacBook Pro.

Daniel

Not to rain on your parade, but you didn't spell iPhone the way it is meant to be spelled :laugh2: maybe next time you get it right

Grin. Thanks for noticing.

The style was to have all text on the web pages and
in the animation lowercase. Artistic interpretation?

Possibly an uppercase "P" would have been a nice
discriminating touch. I'll try it in round 2 when I
animate the "Cover Flow" (Apple's video browser
widget that emerges from the phone).

Cheers,
Daniel
