2.2 Email

I just downloaded the new update for my iphone 3g, now I can't delete my email. It gives me a message saying it can't move item to the trash......................can someone help?

I read your post then checked my email and I'm having the same problem. Anyone know anything about this?

It's a network problem. Either reset your phone or just wait it out. By time I'll fix itself.

I had the same problem with my AOL account only after the 2.2 upgrade. Yesterday, all of a sudden, the trash box appeared on my folders on the iphone and delete was working as normal. STRANGE!!!

2.2 seems to reset certain settings including email. You just need to go into settings, check everything to make sure everything is as you want, or had it. That includes settings in email that show your smpt servers on or off. On would be the desired setting, but my went to off by themselves.
Once you have all your settings back to the way you want them, reboot your phone and everything should work better than it ever did.
