My iphone boom box craped out so I went out to buy a new one and I'm losing my mind.
The ones that say there iphone compatible dont charge while docked although I did find a few in store that will charge while I'm docked but all of them seem to only play my music out of the right speaker and not the left.
Please note that I'm playing music from Mxtube and not the ipod so I'm not sure if that could be causing the speaker problem.
Any help please.

There's only one speaker on the iPhone. The other one is the microphone ;)

When you say the right speaker, are you talking about your phone or the boombox?
If, the device you are docking with is only playing one side, then it's quite possibly the phone's dock connector. Make sure that it is clean and here is a way to test.
If you have a standard iPhone dock from Apple with the audio out jack in the back, connect your phone to it and run a line from the audio jack to a stereo or external speaker unit and see if both channels play use both your MXtube and iPod apps. If they don't, it's definitely the phone. If they do, then it's a problem with the compatible docks on the boom boxes that you were testing on.

BTW, there has been a documented problem with some devices not charging when the phone is playing, but should charge when the phone is "sleeping".
