Looks like firmware 2.2 gives us the option to update all apps at one time again. YAY!!! :smile: I wonder why they removed that option in the first place. Anywho, I'm glad it's back again. Saves me from reopening the Appstore to update each app separately.

I don't know what's up with that but I can update all applications at once on my 1st generation iPod Touch, I never tried on my iPhone. I have firmware 2.1 on my iPod Touch. o.O!

I also like having the ability to take snapshots of the lock screen again.

When you go to the update screen & you have multliple apps that need to be updated, the "Update All" button should be on the upper right hand corner of the screen.

Awesome! It always annoyed me when I had like 3 updates and haft to wait on each one and do it again

Umm that's cool. You live in Texas though, so what's the point? Don't tire yourself searching haha. Plus, I don't think other phones are going to support emoticons in text messaging, especially colored emoticons like those. They could only support like text ones ( : ) ; ) ;] ) you know what I mean? That's why I guess they might need MMS messaging for that, and that's not even supported in iPhones lmao. SwirlyMMS isn't good.

I tried to look for it, but no luck...

Go to installer and install this source "i.ifon1.no" then refresh and install emoji everywhere. Then go to keyboard settings under general and go to japanese and turn it on.. Now it will be in the keyboard click the world shape and they pop up.

You can only get Installer (application) when you jailbreak your iPhone, so no.

it hafts to be jailbroken to even have installer, so no.

The Emoji file is now in cydia under ispazios source as well

I actually found "emoji" in Cydia.

It's pretty kewl!!

So far, I test texting my friends who has iPhone, and only JB phone can see the icon, others only see them as square...

UPDATE : looks like non-JB phone can see it too... they have to be 2.2

I think they need to have the emjoi application on their iPhone too. I installed it a few hours ago.

3 person I texted was able to see my icon.

person A : JB2.2 english environement without emoji installed
person B : stock 2.2 english/japanese environment
person C : stock 2.2 english environment

That's great. But what about people who have phones other than iPhones? I bet they are going to see squares too. I am too lazy to text my other phones because it's going to take me a while searching for them :D.

Yea, I believe it's only between iPhone.
but hell, all of my friends have iPhone so, it's kewl with me.

In Egypt it's so hard to find an iPhone, just recently Mobinil started selling 3G factory unlocked iPhones, but I bet no one will even buy because they come with a service plan. But since I am a gold member since 1998 in Mobinil, I can take one for free (I have many star points with them) and just pay for how much I talk, SMS, and internet use (if I even use it).

I also noticed that if you update an app now it will update the app in the place of where you have the app. It use to updated the app (show the icon being updated) at the very end of your list of applications and then move it where you had the app at. Now it shows the update icon where you current have the app at.

Huh? I live in a place called Mohandessin, it's a place for rich people in Egypt lol. Not any one can even enter it. Downtown is a public place, a lot of poor and uneducated people live there, it's not cool. I still go there sometimes to smoke pot with friends though, because there is barely any police there.

Yup, I hopefully am. St. Lawrence or Manhattan University. I applied to those and I am accepted but I am not sure yet. I am also applied to AUC (American University in Cairo), it has so many branches world wide, even in Lebanon (which is the one I really want to go, AUB in Beirut), they have six branches in the USA, maybe I'll take the 2nd semester here and then transfer to one of their branches, one in New York because that's the only State I've been to.
