iPod Touch 'FASTER' than iPhone 3G?!!!

Is this new 'news' to anyone or has this been a little known fact for awhile now? It's definately new to me!

Dunno about you but this sorta pisses me off, why cant they both just have the same processor?

Well, the 2G iPod Touch came out after the 3G iPhone. So, that's why the 3G won't have it for now. Apple could manufacture a v1.2 3G with the new processor I suppose. But, I doubt they want to do that until this first batch of iPhones are sold out. And I wonder how the faster processor will do with 3G and GPS - two battery-sucking features that the iPod Touch does not have.

I'm not sure but the iPod Touch should definitely be FASTER than any iPhone versions, since it doesn't have the PHONE function, the CAMERA function, GPS function, and other things that slow down any device. :P
