This is absolutely great. I can test it on my N81 8GB, dad's N95 and N95 8gb then :D. Damn that's going to be awesome. I have always been a Nokia user and I can never say iPhone got my attention more than Nokia phones at all, even though it's something totally different. At least the GPS works on Nokia devices once you unlock them, unlike the iPhone. So yeah, Nokia FTW :D.

I too have been a Nokia lover. Its the only type of phone I owned before I got the iphone. If ever I would switch to a different phone it would be a Nokia.

You guys realize that this stuff has been in development for the iPhone since summer right?

That doesn't amaze me. The iPhone does not have MMS messaging (which could be found even in 5 years old or more Nokia and other brand phones), it does not have Landscape text and emailing (which also happens to be available in a lot of touch screen phones), not to mention that it only has a 2MP camera and does not have a flash. After all that, its price is still too high (whether unlocked or locked with an AT&T service plan). I only bought it because people in my country kept bragging about how good it is, how hard it is to find, and since it's almost double (you might even say triple) the price in Egypt than in the United States. It kind of disappointed me, also the GPS function only works if you're with AT&T, which is another shock. I can tell you that I paid $650 but I feel like I wasted my money. A good $300 is enough for that phone (brand new and factory unlocked).

1. Wasn't bashing your nokia, or emphasizing the iPhone.
2. You still bought the iPhone.

That's true, I did. I told you, I really wanted to buy it because of what people in my country (especially my closest friends) kept saying about it. And since I went to the States, that was my one and only chance of purchasing it. Anyway, I thought that I'd buy it for a couple of months and maybe get rid of it by selling it to any one here (even for a higher price) later on, but I think I'm just going to keep it. I didn't go all the way to the States, kept searching for it within Manhattan and still didn't find it, then had to go to Brooklyn and searched for hours until I found the ONE AND ONLY store that could get it for me. I even wanted a 16 GB but there wasn't except 8 GB. So I guess I wouldn't just easily get rid of it after all the searching and hard work, I don't know why but it's just like that. :D

It's been done for over a year in Japan for recognizing music CDs:

You really have some good arguments where. Which is why I like Nokia and Apples iphone. I think the one thing that the iphone has an advantage against Nokia is that it has a lot of support (development, 3rd). In not sure about Nokia.

One more thing is the web browser. iPhone's web browser is the best I've ever used in any phones, of course the Internet Explorer on Windows Mobile phones sucks butt, just as bad as Internet Explorer on any computer. I don't know if any one already knows this or if this is true, but I heard from a lot of sources that Internet Explorer 7 was full of spyware, lags, and glitches, and that's why they are making Internet Explorer 8 so soon, Beta 2 version is already in their website and available for download.

Just look at all the problems the xbox 360 has. It's because it was built by Microsoft. Its just the sad truth.

Converting to Macintosh OSX will stop that from happening. ;)
