I hope it turns out good. I saw some going for more than I paid for my 16GB the other day! lol. That'd be something.

Just sold 2 8GB phones on ebay a few weeks ago. Went real smooth. Hope you are using paypal as the only method of payment and I would really suggest you only ship to the US. There is a lot of scamming going on especially with the iphone. You will probably get a little less by doing this, but IMO it is a bit safer.
You will probably get a lot of mail, as I did, wanting you to sell direct at all kinds of crazy prices(meaning low) and sob stories as well. Ignore these and go thru the proper channels.
The phones I sold were stock and after fees the two averaged about $300 ea. If the phone is jailbroke, it usually brings more. Alot is just being in the right place at the right time. There are a TON of iphones on ebay, so luck plays a small part in what it brings. People tend to bid on the phones ending soonest and go down the line, so don't expect too much bid activity on your phone until about a day-day and a half left on the auction. It really gets hot in the last 3-5 minutes.

I don't like buying products off eBay, I don't really trust the users there even if they have 100% feedback, it's just too risky for me and especially since I am in a far country. Shipping itself is going to be really pricy.

You should also consider CraigsList. If you are new to eBay, you *might* have a tough time getting high bids. Good luck. Safe to assume you're jumping on the 3G bandwagon?

This is very true. People tend to stay away from sellers with feedback ratings of less than 10.

Did you set a reserve amount at all?

Good looking out. I've actually never sold anything on eBay, just purchased. I'm still unclear on how the whole thing works.

Speaking of purchases on eBay, I just ordered a replacement screen, since like a fool I cracked mine this morning. Awesome.
