Problem Synching iPhone - Please Help!

Hi I have an iPhone 3g which I activated using iTunes on my PC, I tried to jailbreak it on my Mac but it messed up and locked the phone up (somehow!), so I restored it on my Mac and it is back to normal - However now when I transfer music from iTunes on my PC to my iPhone and then try to transfer to my Mac (which doesn't have my music collection on it yet) - it won't let me! It says I have to restore to the Mac to be able to do this.

I'm not 100% sure what the answer is but I would really prefer not to wipe my iPhone again as it is annoying having to download apps, set it up, transfer contacts etc.

Please help!

It sounds like you are trying to transfer music from your iPhone to your Mac. Is that right? If so, you can't do that. iTunes will put music on a device, but not vice versa.

You'll have to use third party software to rip the music out of the phone to your Mac or you can back up iTunes from your PC onto a DVD and then sync the DVD(s) with your Mac. Does that make sense?
