We all hoped, some even prayed and adobe developed it. The only restriction is that Apple refused it because it violates the TOS and the SDK agreement.

Well...at least we can hope and pray for cut & paste or MMS.

I've honestly never wanted Flash. I can use it on my MacBook and that's the only place I need it. All I really want out of Apple is theming and video recording. I could care less about MMS, copy & paste, etc.

at this point, i'm thinking it's for the best. Hell, the iphone can barely handle vanilla 2.1. I'm sure the number of software complaints would soar after a flash player was released.

I really care only about copy & paste. I'm in situations several times a week where copy & paste would really be useful. I use it a lot when browsing on my desktop; it's no different on my iPhone.

If Adobe flash (full not the watered down vers.) Ill pay whatever they'll charge for it. IF and IF they try and go thru cydia and the price for the app is below 30usd ill buy it. IMHO its VERY worth it.

Jobs dosent like competition....and i think he's still stuck int he mindset that the world will use quicktime for media. *knock knock Stevie....why have computers that run flash but cripple the mobile device that can render full sites? Thats kinda redundant and ironic to have a mobile device capable of rendering a full HTML site and not have flash.

which brings me to another point. Sum1 should sue the pants (ull eventually settle with them for a price) outa Apple for another misleading advertisment. The phone is not capable of rendering full HTML sites since it dosent have flash support. Sue them like that woman did who said the 3G speeds was false advertising. (which they arent as demonstrated on youtube of a kid repeating the comercial in real time and his phone was much slower than the "doctored" comercials.

Read all 4, seeing the movie Thurs. at midnight but I heard it sucks so I am going in with low expectations. You could never make a movie even close to those books, they won't do it justice I can guarantee it, just look at the actors they picked.

Sort of, but with Vampires and Werewolves who blend in with the humans, and a hint of a love story but a lot of action and suspense too. I think they made it kind of cool to want to be a vampire or a werewolf.
I really got into them, I never got into Harry Potter books but know a lot of people who did.

I just got back from Youtube watching videos on the Blackberry Bold and HTC touch Pro and for some reason my "drive" or "craving" for the iPhone is starting to go away :(

I really don't care for flash.

I mean just 2 years ago my phone I had couldn't play 3d games, or watch youtube, or surf the web (it did do the wack wap pages), wifi, 3g.

I guess I'm just not a hardcore iphone type. All I use it is to call, text, take some pics, and surf online when I have little breaks while I'm out.

ATT has basically told Apple NOT to create or approve bandwidth intensive apps because ATT is having so muich trouble with iPhones 'hogging' the system so badly that other subscribers have too many dropped calls, poor service , etc . All basically because they never planned on so much iPhone sales or activities taking place and they don't seem to want to spend the money to upgrade their systems to handle any more. They basically refused one of the radio station listening apps because ATT couldn't keep up with the bandwidth needed. Also does anyone notice the difference between the original Weather-Bug app and the newest one ??.... the older one let you view a streaming type weather video with Rachel the weather girl, now the newer version has eliminated the video option !
Don't think we'll see much of any kind of streaming or probably even any Flash ..ATT is clamping down on all the good possibilties and won't upgrade enough to let them exist much more !!!

They might need more 3g satellites , but they also need more 3g enabled towers and do some maintainance on what they do have.

copy and paste would be nice... but i really don't have a need for it... and so would flash.. i would like to watch videos on other sites besides youtube... but then again the iphone can't really handle a lot of stuff on safari w/o crashing...

exactly why i'm not complaining about it. we SHOULD be complaining about the overall performance of the iphone. Lag, crashes, etc.
