Itunes wont download

Hi for some stupid reason ever since 8.0 cameout i have not been able to use my itunes or sync my phone cause itunes will not pull up..The shortcut is their on my pc but when i click it nothing happens and if something does happen it just says itunes has stopped working. I tried to uninstall and redownload it but it keeps getting stuck when it is contacting apple on the automated registry part of install..I am lost can anyone help plz?:angry:

If it's getting stuck on the registry part maybe it has something to do with your firewall or anti-spyware applications. Try disabling them for the download and see if that helps anything.

I believe you can get it from a link through apple.
