iP47BR- need some help

i had bought a iP47BR yesterday and hocked everything up, i could do everything but there is one problem. It doesnt play music in ipod mode when i hock my iphone 3g in.
Is there anyone has one of it and be able to play music by iphone 3g on it?

What is a iP47BR? I guess that might help some of us understand what it is you are working with.

yea... i actually did.
i hope it isn't a malfunction product so i have to go replace it since there isn't an apple store close to me.
