Starting from the 10th and going down to No. 1 ..

I guess I will go first. I am only listing 3rd party apps from the App Store, since I am not jailbroken:
10) Here I am ( I use this to email directions to my friends with iPhones)
9) Fring
8) Speed Dial (1,2,3 and 4) Speed Dials from the Springboard
7) Motion X GPS Lite
6) GPS-R GPS tool with location reminders. If you get near say Block Buster, it will remind you to return the movies you rented if you program it to.
5) Billy Frontier
4) Air Share
3) Weather Bug - decent and fairly accurate, but the advisories with no description are a pain
2) Jaadu saved my ass a couple times being able to remote into my home PC
1) Crash Nitro Kart- great time waster, no matter how often I use it.

9. Units- conversion on the fly comes in handy for my job

6. Trace- great free game, no reason not to have this one
5. Path Tracker- like to know exactly how far I've gone when walking the dogs

I have to update my top 10 as ive changed some things... some key things on my iPhone today. and looking at this list... in no particular order... only Jaadu, BeeJive and Orb are from the app store. To me, jailbreaking is a no brainer.

9. SplashID (Appstore) - I love having my junk organized.
8. Facebook (Appstore) - What can I say, I network alot.
7. Whitepages (Appstore) - Brilliant little free app, works well (Even has reverse lookup)
6. Todo (Appstore) - This is the Appigo version that syncs with RTM and Toodledo
5. Holy Bible (Appstore) - Gotta have the greatest book ever written with me.
4. Sportstacular (Appstore) - Probably the best realtime sports resource for iPhone
3. i.TV (Appstore) - I use this program everyday, love the TV Guide + Movie Trailors
2. Billy Frontier (Appstore) - I love this shooter, play it all the time
1. Pandora (Appstore) - When I am not using my phone, this is almost always playing in the background.

8.)now playing - great app for movie times, theatres, trailers, etc.. (free)

7.)jellycar - hilarious and fun little game (free)

6.)wordle - challenging word game (free)

5.)sportacular - best sports app (free)

4.)simplify media - listen to music from your pc on your iphone, cool and works well (free)

3.)the weather channel - new weather app, very nice, even has video forecasts for your area that are updated every 30 min, best weather app IMO...and I've tried almost all of them (free)

2.)iWeathr - this is actually a web app. animated radars, lots of them. reflectivity, rainfall, velocity, aviation weather, lightning strikes, satellite radar, tropical weather. If you like weather radars you have to get this. I think I got it from dribbr.com (free)

1.) is a tie between: Bank of America - I always have an eye on my money, lol. (free)

4. Koi Pond - (Appstore) - Fascinating and relaxing graphical demo.
5. Shredder Chess (WebApp) - The best free chess game for the iPhone.
6. WunderRadio (Appstore) - Listen to almost any AM or FM station in the country.
7. Wikipanion (Appstore) - Does a great job of providing quick access to - and custom formating of - Wikipedia articles.
8. All the free Google Gmail/Calendar/Mobile apps. (Appstore and WebApps) Who really needs MobileMe with all of this available for free?
9. Weather Underground for iPhone (WebApp) Great free weather app with tabs for "Current Conditions", "Radar", "Forecast", and "Warnings".
10. Tip$ (AppStore) - Jerry Seinfeld would be proud!

Wikiamo - trim, no extras
Searchme - like iTunes album cover flip-thru
YouTube - trim, nice bookmarks - not really a "web app"
Pandora - found new music from my all time favorites - input one selection
MyRadios - the 16-bit has good audio
WunderRadio - best all around
Google Earth - better than on the laptop - "tilt 3-D"
Star Walk - beautiful, and useful
WeatherBug - local, local weather condition
Weather Underground - local radar - load, then select animated (find locale in Safari, scroll down to radar and "save to home" - label with name of town - even makes a nice little icon - not really a "web app" - you see, I have 12)
Tides - true local tides and currents - for kayak

Its hard for me to put them in order because they change with my mood but here are my favorite 10 right now.

*The google app (The voice search is great. Floors people when the see it in action.
*Simplify Media (I managed to take over a thousand songs off my iPod portion and replace the songs with videos and movies. This app lets you access your iTunes library on the fly, so now I have over a 10,000 song library. Sweet)
*Pandora Radio (I was amazed how much better this app is than regular radio stations. You tell it what songs you like and it will play other songs that you are likely to dig. If you don't like the song you can tell it to not play it again and it won't!)
*Dizzy Bee (Entertaining game that uses the accelerometer to guide a bee around obstacles and dangers.)
*Gaia (Another game I find well put together and fun.)
*Aurora Feint (A game created by a couple of newer programmers that did one heck of a job on their first project. Keep an eye on these programmers.)
*Draft Central (I play fantasy football with my father-in-law and his friends and family. This application helped me keep track of players and picks on game day. Needs minor improvements but it did good enough to make the grade.)
*Backgrounds (An app that makes it easy to browse through wallpapers so you can select and save new backgrounds. Good app but they need to get busy and pump in alot more wallpapers!!)
*Urbanspoon (An app that you can use to find a place to eat nearby if you can't make up your mind.)
*SportsTap (An app that lets you keep up to date on scores and stats)
