How did this happen?

I downloaded some Blank icons from Cydia, and this is how they show up on my phone--

All the ugly black phones represent the blank icons. Has anybody in the world every experienced this?

Any suggestions?

the only way i can think of as to how that happened is that you downloaded that image instead of a blank icon. did those icons used to be blank and then change to that? you could always make your own clear icons and replace those phone icons with your own clear icons that you made.

The problem is that on some themes the blanks are blank, and on others I get the ugly phone.

If I made my own, and just named them Icon, and added them to my Web Clips, would that work?

I just downloaded the blank icon, and it's blank alright! Now what?
