View Full Version : Cydia, Installer Keyboard Lag

Hi All,
I just jailbroke my 2.1 iPhone 3g via the Quickpwn method. However I get a keyboard lag in Cydia when searching, and in Installer, also while searching. This lag in Installer leads to the program freezing and crashing. Any ideas?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the keyboard lag only happens in these two programs.

There's nothing you can really do except wait for everything to finish loading before doing anything. The lag is "natural" for those apps.

Installer is lag. Get rid of it. It offers nothing that Cydia does not.

Cydia does have keyboard lag. Everything else is rather snappy, but I do notice a lot of lag when typing.. hopefully Jay will update this sometime in the future.

Just SSH in and delete Installer.app from the /Applications folder and reboot.
