no system sounds [Archive]

hi i have iphone version 2.0.2 previously it was working fine , i used to install apps and themes via cydia .. and now there is a problem .. there are no sounds like lock , unlock , mail or sms notification no keyboard click sound, three is only incoming call tone, i downloaded several sound themes but none of them worked ...... please help...

try holdidng down the home and power button until the phone resets it self. This fixed mine when it did that. Also check the silent rocker switch and make sure it's not flipped.

i tried resetting the phone but it didnt worked , what is the silent rocker switch ?

the silent switch is on the left side of the phone right above the volume controls. Did you just turn the phone off and then back on or did you force it to reset?

the silent switch is ok Yes I forced the phone to reset.

Did you activate the sound themes in Winterboard?

yes I tried and tried by deactivating them too
