I'm trying to understand the usefulness of Dashboard. Anybody have any suggestions for good Widgets? Here's my Dashboard. Mickey doesn't do anything...Well he makes me smile:tounge:

Apple's website just searched Disney.

And so it seems no one has any suggestions... *sigh*

Well you can download more widgets...some of them are pretty useful. Like you already have the weather one. The calculator can be pretty handy too.

Well I enjoy countdown widgets. I have a pretty sweet Grinch countdown to Christmas widget. I also have a spooky Skull thing that doesn't do much other than look creepy. Oh, and a Family Guy quotes widget.

I've tried several TV Guide widgets but none of them ever seem to work correctly.

Is there somewhere other than the Apple website to get Widgets?

Well there are the Yahoo Widgets. I tried a few of them on my PC but I don't know if they work on a Mac.

check out the webclip function in Safari. uber-badass custom widgets at your fingertips. I created one from the TV guide website, one from Pandora.com... the possibilities are endless.
