This goes under the list of apps that should be removed from Cydia until the developer can make it work properly. The steps to it are simple - download a boot image and reflash your firmware - but it has horrible consequences.
I reflashed my firmware after using and shut off my phone. I turned it on.. and heard iTunes make the noise it does when it detects a phone in recovery. My phone's screen is black, and there's no response. I can't kick it out of recovery. I can't get in via SSH. In other words, I just lost a ton of Cycorder videos, themes, apps, notes & texts that haven't been backed up, and a finished significant release of my lock screen widgets.
Unless you absolutely have to change your boot logo, please do not use this app.

I second what Lincoln said.
The exact same thing happened to me as well.
Keep away from it.

I don't know why it didn't work for you guys but it worked fine for me, xD.
Damn I have to restore because my iPhone is kind of slow and takes ages to boot, but that's my fault. *licks shiny coloured Apple*

another faulty dangerous app that slips under cover like a snake. Sorry. I downloaded this last night and never got a chance to use it. Thank God. Everything is fine except for the fact that even though I deleted the app, the icon is still on my screen. No biggie since Ill just move it on it's own springboard page with other apps I don't use like the weather and stocks and app store app.... Tough brake, I hope they get that crap out of cydia asap.

I had no issue with it, as well, but I'm not going to tempt fate. I removed it.

I thought about testing it too. Thank God I had an exam and was too busy :)

With all due respect, why would someone flash or update their firmware without performing a full backup of all irreplaceable files (photos, messages, data, settings, etc)?
At any rate, thanks for the heads-up!

Because the app didn't tell me it was going to flash the firmware until it was actually doing it.
Trust me, I have a backup folder that I update every day now.

me too but now when i open logome it just sits at the downloading firmware part puzzling
I think there is an issue with logome and 2.2
it worked fine for me in 2.1 but it just sits at the home screen and doesn't do anything.

Correct. It worked perfectly with jailbroken 2.1
For every firmware upgrade, some rain must fall. Mine is Pwnage Tool and Cydia crashing (although QuickPwn works like a champ)
Caveat Emptor.

The same thing happened to me it seems to be isolated To 2g iPod touch but even though it wouldn't boot and iTunes didn't recognize it I was able to go into dfu mode and rejailbreak with redsnow and I went to cydia to find and deleate logome and was unable to locate it in my packages I was frustated I couldn't deleate it I became frustrated because I have an 8gb iPod touch(only one I can afford) so I need all the space I can get thankfully I found an app in cydia called cydeleate allowing me to deleate it directly from spring board but anyway the whole experiance sucked I thought my iPod was gone forever but I guess I have to thank apple for dfu mode
