Yahoo Email not "pushing" email to phone...

For some reason the yahoo email account setup on the iphone is receiving emails through fetch, but not push even though it is set to receive through push and push is turned on so I don't know why emails aren't being pushed to the phone... any suggestions?

I would try 3 things:

1- Do a reset of the phone by holding down the home button and sleep button at the same time. Do this until the Apple logo appears and the phone restarts.

2- Delete the email account at the phone and reinstall.

3- Do not sync your email accounts with Outlook through Itunes. Uncheck that option in Itunes.

I have a push exchange email account. This happens to me from time to time. I also reccomend doing step 1 daily to keep your phone in top working order. I do this and have no mail delayed email problems.

Yahoo Push has been a problem from day one. It won't much matter what you do, it will still be very sporadic at best.
My advice? Get MobileMe!
