Taking iphone off of dock...

This isnt like normal devices where you have to safely remove it is it? I have just pulled it off of dock when its done. Is this the correct thing to do?

Since the iPhone has no hard drive mode (yet) you can safely remove it from the dock without having to do anything (like eject it).
