Got a new 3G with 2.1 FW, but the bluetooth, GPS and WIFI haven't exactly been working right.
It's been jailbroken with Quickpwn and loaded with cracked and jailbroke apps, etc.
The guy from Apple had me "reset the phone's operating system" with the off & home buttons held down, yet those apps seem to still work, including Cydia. (though not sure about Cydia)
Anyway... he wants me to send the phone back to Apple for a repair or possibly a new phone.
What exactly do I need to do to restore this to like when I gought it?
I'm all mixed up about which firmware is backed up since I jailbroke it. And not exactly sure how to restore it to it's "nicey-nice" state so Apple won't know I jailbroke it.
So I guess I need to "un-jailbreak it"...?
Can anyone help please...?
FAST!
The guy is coming to pick it up in a 1-3 business days!
Thanks so much!

Always restore to a new phone. Restore your phone and then rejailbrake fresh. If you keep your contacts and such in windows address book or outlook you can resynch those later after your restoring process

That's what I need to find out how to do.
Not exactly sure of the procedure.
And how do I get stuff like Cydia and Installer, off of it?

Kinda confused about what firmware it will restore to.
How do I do that?
Thanks!

Go into itunes and click restore. Select restore as a new phone and Itunes will take care of the rest. Be sure to do a backup first.
