I've been using a standard aux cable to listen to music for my car along with a USB car charger. I didn't like all the cables so I started looking for an all-in-one solution. I've tried a few devices over the last few weeks. I finally found this and it works flawlessly in my car:

I just got this the other day and it works great. Finally, I can charge and stream music with one cable, and the remote works great, too. I highly recommend it.

I heard that, too, for steroes that aren't properly grounded. I've had no problem in any of my cars.
