Staples Center - No 3G Service

Ok, I am very curious to know what the deal is with AT&T not having 3G service inside of Staples Center!? I am a season ticket holder for hockey over there, so usually during the months of October through April, I am at Staples Center at least 2-3 times per week. I am just baffled that AT&T, who is a sponsor inside Staples Center does not have 3G service in downtown L.A., which is in the center (just about) of Los Angeles and you'd figure that such a prominent service provider would have their best foot forward when people come to town to watch games, possibly from out of town, or maybe they are attending a convention at the L.A. Convention Center right across the street. I have not thought to check the service level before I go into Staples Center, but it would baffle me more if they actually had 3G outside and somehow blocked it inside of Staples Center. Tomorrow night when I go there again, I will try to remember to check the service level before I go in.

Anyone have any similar issues with AT&T or maybe someone could shed some light on this issue for me.
I am interested to hear people's thoughts on this.
