Every once in awhile I access a web site and I receive a message that I need to download Flash player to view the page but Im not sure which version to download. My options are "Windows 98/ME/2000/XP/Vista" or 'Mac OS X (Intel)". Im assuming that its Mac OS X (Intel) but I'd rather play it safe and ask first.

TIA

None of the above. Flash is not yet supported, if it ever will be.

Search function is your friend. This has been answered hundreds of times. Just type flash in the search field and you will see all the answers.

Thank you kycophpd.

I was using my iphone (still am) when I started this thread and when I clicked on the search button I received the error message "404 page not found" than it gave me a list of possible reasons why the page couldn't be displayed.

Thanks again

You're going to be hard-pressed to find many mobile phones with Flash in the U.S. Here is an article dating from July 2008 talking about the prevalence of Flash in phones in Japan. Flashy (http://www.wirelessweek.com/Article-More-Phones-with-Flash.aspx)

I haven't found a phone that does, that's why I was asking. TAEWING59... which phones have you used that support FLASH?

I never realized cell phones don't support flash, it's frustrating to say the least.

Wasn't there an article somewhere saying Adobe made a version of flash that was supported by the iPhone? Coulda swore I saw a link for it here on EIC? Maybe I'm just going crazy though.

There was an article about it on here somewhere, but Apple would still need to approve it, which they probably won't. It's too bad, too. Flash is used on the "real internet" which the iPhone is supposed to have! I honestly don't really care if it has Flash, it's still the best browser on any smartphone I have ever used.

Most or all Windows Mobile phones do. Windows Mobile is the best OS but the worst phones have it. Imagine an iPhone with Windows Mobile OS, wow that would kick ass.

Hahaha are you serious? Navigating that OS is the biggest pain in the ass. It's the clunkiest piece of crap OS I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. It's been that way since PocketPC 2000.

Speaking of which, have you tried the Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional (the latest)? Because I've tried almost all of them, from Windows Mobile 2003 to Windows Mobile 5.1, but the 6.1 version beats them all. Especially the Windows Live application, which makes WM the best :P.

Flash Players (on Windows Mobile) need to be manually downloaded though. In order to watch movies - videos from YouTube and other websites that use .flv format.

I had a Moto Q9 and I'm almost sure it supported Flash Player. It was the biggest most uncomfortable phone to hold/talk on, but not bad.
