please help me with ringtones

please help me i downloaded 3 free ringtones for free off some site thay saved to i tunes i synced them from my cpu to my i phone3g where do thay save to and how do i set them i just got the phone yesterday please help im sick of hearing a dam duck when someone calles me

If they were installed on your iPhone, go to Settings >>> Sounds >>> Ringtone... your custom ringtones will be listed above the Standard ringtones that come pre-installed on the phone. You may have to scroll up on the ringtones page to find them.

mabey im not syncing them rightit said i did it but nothing shows up im not vary phone savy so idk i guess there is just something im not gettein

Are you sure that, Sync Ringtones, was selected within iTunes? How long are the ringtones? They must be under 30 seconds for them to sync, otherwise they never will.
