Syncing Contacts Inquiry

sorry for double post.
I was wanting to switch from using Yahoo Address Book to Windows but am afraid it will delete all my contacts from iPhone on the next sync. Can someone plz confirm this for me.

when switching, itunes should ask you if you want to "merge" contacts between your phone and computer. Just remember to select "merge" here (there is another option, but i've forgotten exactly what it is), and all contacts on your iphone will be added to your windows address book.
