iTune Question

I am having problems with 8.0 If I completly uninstall 8.0 and then reinstall will loose everything in my iTunes...apps, contacts, etc...I am having problems with "corupt back-ups" and figure it is an iTune problem. Thank you for your time.

no, removing itunes will still leave your contacts, apps, and media on your computer.
