My friends iPhone is bricked on 1.1.4. How can I virginize the phone so that I can put 2.1 on and jailbreak it? I've tried to do a restore in DFU mode. I have tried downgrading to iTunes 7.5 and going through DFU mode and still doesn't work. When I was able to get through to emergency call and try the *#307#, once I hit hold call, nothing happened. The phone wouldn't let me go into my contacts.
