Being charged minutes for a number I never called or has called me.

well as stated, i looked at my current minutes & noticed i was being charged numerous times a day for a number I never called or has never called me. i looked at my call list to see if maybe i called this number by accident, definitely not though. it is the same number that shows up. it has happened 5 x today...as well as 3 x over the weekend. i called at&t and apparently they are having technical difficulties, and said to call back in TWO DAYS. has this happened before? any help? thanks.

They want you to call back in 2 days? That's crazy! You should keep calling until they fix it - I've never heard of that issue and they should address that ASAP before they turn the story around and tell you that it's your fault (I have little faith in customer service at most companies).

I have to agree. I would call back regardless of how long they told you to wait and make sure that a report is filed (get a case #) showing that you disagree with the charges and made a point of addressing it. I had to call into AT&T 3 times over the course of 2 months because upon activation of my 3G, the rep completely fluxed it up. Instead of changing my personal unlimited texting to family unlimited, they removed texting entirely and there was an ample overage charge for texting. I finally got it figured out.

called both att and apple, they are both helpless. no resolution.

I would keep calling and complaining until you get someone that knows what they are doing or can at least help you in someway.
