I did a search and couldn't find anything, so here goes. Does anyone know of any plans to port iTunes to Linux? I mean, if they can port it to Windoze, why not Linux? Yeah, I know, I can probably install it using Wine or a virtual machine, but that brings up another problem: no way to sync the iPhone. Seems to me like there enough of us Linux users out there now that would love to be able to use the iPhone and iTunes in Linux.

i doubt apple will create itunes for linux any time soon. although, it's possible to manage iphones (jailbroken and pre-2.0) in ubuntu.

I saw that. The problem is, it only always you to sync. There still is not solution for upgrading your phone through Linux. It seems just syncing is the easy part. Allowing firmware upgrades is apparently the hard part to solve.
