I have Magic Video Converter (full, purchased) on my PC and I am unable to convert the SWF files I have. I emailed the company and they said the error message I was getting meant the SWF file contains action. I have no idea what this means. I'm guessing some sort of block or something? Is there any way to convert an SWF file that contains action or a way to remove action from the files I have?

Thanks

You can try another video converter and see if that's still a problem.
I think this converter also supports swf.
Good luck.

I regularly convert flv files with the free program XviD4PSP
from www.winnydows.com (http://www.winnydows.com).

Hi! Have the problem been solved? May I know the reason?

Action stands for action script, it enables you to interact with the swf animation. Flash (SWF) is different from flash video (flv), you cannot convert flash swf using flv converters.

You probably wont be able to convert swf with action scripts at all. More of a program then a video if it has those scripts.
