Okay.. so my MacBook crashed... I hadn't backed up and had to replace the hard drive completely... nothing was retrievable :( I still have my itunes library on my iphone and was wondering if there was a way to do a reverse sync or something? When looking to sync music, itunes is saying that it will wipe my iphone and replace with the current itunes library (which has nothing!)... any ideas on getting the iphone library transferred to the computer?

HELP!

All you can do is click "Transfer purchases from iPhone" in the File menu (I think), and that will copy apps, music, and videos that were purchased/downloaded from the iTunes store. As for the rest of your stuff (like CD-ripped or otherwise downloaded and then synced into your library), the best you can hope for is to keep it on there by checking the "Manually manage music and videos" checkbox when your iPhone is plugged up. Unless you want to get brave and jailbreak the phone to get your media off of there. There are many tutorials and tools available to do so in the modifications/third-party software forums here, if you decide.

there is third party software available that can reverse-sync. I'm sure someone will be able to give a good, free example soon enough.

Senuti (http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/download) allows you to transfer music/video from your device to your Mac, and apparently works for the iPhone, according to the Release Notes (http://www.fadingred.org/senuti/release_notes)

So remove all the music first, add it to your library and then sync.
