View Full Version : Any way to simply "activate" 2.1? (no jailbreak needed)

I just want to be able to use the iPod at the moment. I was sick of 2.0.2 crashing and went ahead with the update to 2.1. If I don't want to jailbreak, just want to push it past the "connect to iTunes" screen, is there a way to do that, or do I need to wait for a quickpwn that supports 2.1 software?

I have a Cingular sim card in there, but no service on it.

You can't jailbreak it you have upgraded to 2.1. It's going to take a while for the dev people to upgrade Pwnage. You should now have a stock phone.
