Didn't have a private folder so I set one up, you seem to be correct in that it doesn't appear for uploading photos from your iphone. Bit weird! But that's mobile me!

That's a few features I'd love for Mobile Me to adopt.

#1 the ability to add pics to a hidden/private album from you phone
#2 the ability to make/ delete an album from your phone.

Guess it might come with time
