I notice that at the bottom of the forums page it says 48,000+ members and right below that it says 5,000+ active members. What do these numbers mean? Just wondering... 50,000 sure is a big number....

probably if a member goes a certain amount of time without logging in or posting they get kicked out of the active members group and in with the non active members.

I believe Chris said something about the recent activity by the current member, whether it's been 2 days since the last post or 2 months. I can't remember but I think he said it varies by forum.

Just go to the member list and count the number of people with zero posts.

I think if that happened, someone like Dave or coasts would be "crowned" Mod instead of you, lol.
