I just got these to sell on ebay...***

and believe it or not,it has better reception that the iphone 3g. I compared them side by side all over Long Island and NYC and this clone from China blew the Apple Iphone away. What a JOKE!

I hope 2.1 stops the drop calls!

I can't believe that some cheap knock-off like that could have any one feature that's better than the iPhone.

not features... Call reception. My iPhone 3g is the worst reception I have ever had on a cell phone trust me I don't get it either!

I live in a valley of no reception with verizpn regardless of phone. Bought my iPhone and now I have three bars compared to none. Best reception I've had in a long time .

not at all. I'm only saying this to illustrate how shifty the iPhone 3g reception is. I don't expect everyone hear who spent all this money, myself included to ditch their phone. I'm just making a point. By the way for those jailbreakers like me the free cycorder video recorder for iPhone 3g updated today and now has audio too!

Atleast it has MMS capabilities but Im afraid $144.00 is a little much to see if the phone works as advertised (nothing personal).

This just proves how pathetic apple's coding is, they can get beat by some random chinese company

it works, ive been playing with it all day.

How about the close to $600 for the Iphone 3g ($299 (phone)+$36(act fee)+$175(termination fee)+$100(1 month of **** service)

$144 Unlocked with no contract and 1 year guarantee ain't so bad if you can't afford the alternative

Is that all yer gonna do---bash the iPhone and Apple? Go to the Chinese knock-off forums and talk about how great their unoriginal product is. No trolls here.

unoriginal?
not taking sides here, but be fair. Apple hasn't created something like this.
Seems original to me. Just another phone, but something to compare against the iphone.

I wouldn't buy it.
But redstar, you said for those who can't afford a iphone. you had/have a iphone :S

Tri-band GSM, no 3G, no warranty or support, no iTunes compatability (no purchased songs or video, no rented movies). I'd buy another Sony Ericsson or Nokia smartphone before I signed up for a knock-off that may stop working after a few months. But I guess I do see this as an alternative for folks who want something like the iPhone that's far cheaper without switching to AT&T and being required to sign up for the iPhone plan...

Moved this thread to the Off Topic forum since it's not about real iPhones...

it has a one year warranty -exactly my point- especially if you have tmobile, theres no 3g anyway

This phone also comes with only 256 mb of memory and you need to use an sd card to expand it, but only up to 2gb. And isn't this just totally illegal? The screenshots show the iphone OS, but how can it be legal for this company to use the OS that it has no liscence for? I also don't get the whole no contract deal either. What difference does it make???

not illegal - no activation fee and no $30 data fee if you dont need date- it has its niche' people like us wouldnt be happy with it. we powerusers, for an average non techy person its ok
