Any new apps like Task Notify?

I did a search but didn't find anything relevant.

Is there a replacement to Task Notify out? The program that used to put a little envelope on the taskbar if you had a new email, etc. I loved not having to unlock my phone just to see if I had a new email.

I'd love to know the same thing. I've been searching around but haven't found anything. It was so incredibly useful.

Closest thing out there right now is Intelliscreen. I'm hoping for taskbar notifier to get upgraded, too.
