Beware of the new app "Meditation Timer." It's a free timer in the App Store that is purports to offer:
"Meditation Timer is great for timing your daily seances of meditation. Coming with two soothing color schemes, a recording of a singing bowl, and the possibility of setting a preparation timer, Meditation Timer lets you settle in your favorite position without stress, wherever you and your iPhone may be."
It's free for the first 5000 customers. Well, 4999 now, I guess. I downloaded. Tried to fire up and it just quits. I then tried a restart of the iPhone. Got into the multi-language "emergency call" mode. And an inability to get to my security screen. Alarming!
Did another restart and all seems to be fine. Deleted "Meditation Timer" immediately. Well, after giving it one more chance. Nope. Buh-bye.
If someone has a fix, or workaround, let me know. Otherwise, steer clear!
