I'd prefer not to get a headset but will if I dont learn of better options. Someone indicated Motorola made a good one that works with the unit and is a self contained mobile speakerphone but I dont know...

there are some standalone BT speaker setups at circuit city type places near the car audio sections.

Check them out, see which one works best for you, and go shopping around online to get the best price

I have seen them at a small circuit city near my house, some of them seem reasonable, and like quality products!
