I just downloaded it and played a few games.

It's interesting that you can choose your controls, either pressing on the screen to turn OR using the accelerometer. I use the accelerometer.

Also, you can CHOOSE to play the game vertically OR horizontally. I find that playing it vertically has more finer controls although you do run out of screen.

I tried the Nissan 350Z first. Now, I'll try the Mini... :2cool:

how do you change the option to hear your own music? Also, how many crashes did you guys get? I crashed a few times in the option menu

If you turn off the game sound you should be able to hear your own music. I'll try it out too.

I only crashed once during a game. But, that after I played a LOT of races before that. I rebooted and I was fine. This game takes up a lot of resources.

Hmmm... I don't know how to use my own music from the iPhone. Can't use the iPod in the game (that I know of). Turning off the sound doesn't do it automatically.

Oh well... more racing. Paris is crazy! :smile:

i bought crash and motochaser. crash is pretty fun and sometimes extremely hard for me to steer. motochaser is the same way, the steering is impossible and never works right. sometimes i think my accelerometer is messed up.

Gran Turismo is a very good comparison.

I like that there's 3 different ways you can play the game. I tried using the tapping. I never tapped in the correct areas. The accelerometer was hard to use at first horizontally. It was easier to use vertically. Then, I weaned myself into playing horizontally. I tried the steering wheel but I was too used to the accelerometer.

Anyway, the Mini was good to me in the beginning of the game. Much easier to steer than the Nissan. I pimped it out as well! :2cool:

I'm on V1. And yeah I can get horizontal mode in Safari, etc. Some games don't always work like CubeRunner. It's definitely weird and sometimes very annoying.

I've gone through 10 cars and 1 motorcycle so far and I'm not done unlocking cars and the game says I'm 16% completed. So, it looks like there's a lot to do in this game! :laugh2:

Wow , this game is amazing , its definitely worth the 10 bucks, only complain I have is that I have unlimited NOs , they should have given you a certain amount and let you decide when to use it. I cant believe they had the new skyline gtr , I got so happy when I saw the GTR-34 , that when i saw the GTR I had an orgasm , lol . I couldnt find anybody on wifi either.

Are you talking about the turbos? There is definitely a limited amount. I definitely used it up before. your probably earning them without even knowing it. Any slight drift and you'll get some. It's really a little too easy but without them it seems extremely slow.

you can definitely use the accelerometer. when racing, press the little white hand button on the top left and that will open up a setting to chose from accelerometer, tapping, or a steering wheel.

i myself prefer the tapping method.

My app doesn't work anymore. I can choose my car, level, etc but when I press Race, my screen goes dark and then I'm at my home screen. Obviously, if I restore or reinstall the app I'll lose my progress- I don't wanna do that. Any other ways to fix this?
