Hey,

Take a look at this: www.nabaztag.com
It is a small, cute, plastic rabbit thing, that is constantly connected to the internet, updating you throughout the day with the news, weather, email alerts, and much more. There's too much that this thing can do to put into words right now. I keep thinking, "I can't spend 89% of my pay-cheque on this, because there are a lot of games that I am planning on getting soon when they come out, but then I take another look at their videos, and I think, "I've got to get this thing!!!". So, after a whole day of considering getting this thing, it came to me; I'll make the money back. Simple. lol, it's not like that's gonna be my only pay-cheque.

So, anyway, I was wondering if anybody on here had one? And could maybe give me advice or any new info about it?

Thanks in advance.

Why does one of them costs $99 and the other one $199, which one did you get?

Well I'm on the UK site, but I've found it on www.play.com for £79.99.

That thing is so cute! Post us up some pics when you get him. I want to see him in his new environment. That is a cool gift idea with Christmas arriving quickly.

That's fine!!!

Well much to my surprise, it was waiting for me when I got home from school this afternoon. I had small issues connecting it to my router, but I believe this was due to interference from my iPhone. It is now up and running telling me the weather, time, waking me up, giving me macrumors and gizmodo updates, and giving me email alerts.
Pictures will be taken and posted tomorrow - I'm too tired right now. :)

This rabbit is like a useful pet that you do not have to feed, walk or clean up it's poop!

Once again, I apologize for the delay in pics and vid, but I left it too late today so the lighting in my room was rubbish!!!!!

And, Koko, I named him "Skute", as in "Scoot". And have some clothes on him at the moment which I printed off a website and "stuck" on, though it covers the lights so....

lol. That is funny. I like how you can buy him different ears. I looked on the website.

Do your parents like him?

I think they think it was a bit of a waste of money, though my dad is enjoying sending messages through it lol. Both, however, think that it is very clever.
I also think that it isn't worth £79.99, I'd say around £60, due to stability issues. I have just recorded some videos and taken some pictures which will be available later today.

Neat! Question: Can it only join open networks, or does it have a way of joining encrypted networks as well?

It seems pretty cool, did it take long to setup?

Ours is WPA encrypted and it works fine, it gives you an option on set-up of whether or not and how your wi-fi is encrypted.

Yeh, because it couldn't find my network, which I believe was due t interference from my iPhone, though every other step apart from that was very quick and simple, and, had that step gone accordingly, the set-up would have probably been very quick.
