I Phone not receiving e-mail messages

My new i phone can send e-mail messages but is not receiving e-mail messages from anyone? Apparently maynot be downloading/receiving from mail server? Any ideas?

It is receiving text messages and everything else appears to be OK??

There is more than likley a mistake when you entered your incoming server information. With that said if your settings where wrong you would normally get a message telling you the phone could not get mail from the server. Also check your settings on how long it will take you to recieve mail. If all your settings appear ok try this:

Go into settings and turn off 3g
Hold down the home button and sleep button together until the phone goes to the apple logo.
When the phone restarts see if you get your mail

does it say at the bottom of the mail program "connecting" over and over again and nothing happens??? if thats the case, its a problem that a lot of people are having including myself....its a 3g issue!
