Hi everyone. Unfortunately I have to use FirstClass software at work for email and calendars which will not sync with my iPhone. I tried exporting my calendar in icalendar format and importing it to outlook's calendar at home to sync. This led to a file may be corrupt and failed to sync message. Anyone have an idea how I can do this? Thanks in advance.

FirstClass supports SYNCML for synchronization of calendar and contacts. Speak to your FirstClass administrator about getting FirstClass sync services running on your system.
You will need a SYNCML client on the iPhone as well. SYNTHESIS makes one that they are distributing free through the App Store - it doesn't do calendars though.
I have been able to export my calendar (as ICAL) and contacts (as VCARD), import them into my iCal and Address Book on my Mac, and let the Mac sync with iTunes, and it brings them into my iPhone nicely.
Your organization can also consider NotifyLink which sync Mail, Calendar and Contacts. (we sell NotifyLink - shameless plug). I am a FirstClass reseller and would be happy to answer any questions about any of this.

In the next few months (possibly December), FirstClass will release its iPhone client---it's a full-blown application with all the features necessary for full functionality on the iPhone. We got a demonstration of it via WebEx a few weeks ago, and it was amazing!
