View Full Version : Voice Mail Set UP

For some reason (?), in the menu for voice mail set up, regardless of my pressing "3" to set up a personal message, I get the instruction to record my name (option "2" in the set up menu). Finally gave up and just opted to give the pre-recorded message with only my phone #.

Also, I want to change the voice mail password, but when I go to Settings - Phone, there is no subtab for voicemail (as the manual says) ... consequently, I can't do it.

Was also curious as to why the default language in the voice mail set up is Spanish. Had to indicate English and then confirm the CHANGE.

Help!

As far as setting up your voice mail personal greeting you do that from your iphone. Simply press the phone icon on the home screen than push the voice mail icon. Once in the voice mail screen press greeting, than record greeting. In regard to changing your voice mail password, from your iphone dial your phone number or simply hold down the "1" key on the keyboard. As soon as you hear the recording start chose "4" to update personal options. Follow the menue to change your password.

Hope this helps

Hey, Showguy! It worked! Using the online options for set up (as you directed), I was able to record a message AND change the password. THANX a BUNCH!
