Got more confused than anything reading the reviews individually.
Need a comprehensive note/to-do App now.
Thanks

I chose Evernote. It's simple, well-designed, supports four kinds of notes (Text, Voice, Visual, Saved Photo), and works on iPhone, Mac, PC, and in it's web app.

I think Things is brilliant because it actually tells you on the homescreen icon how many 'things' you have left to do that day (just like the red number icon of new emails or sms you've recieved). It's so great that I don't have to keep opening the application. Totally recommend it.

yeah I'm closing in...but Im a writer of sorts, always 'adding to' on the move....
Still haven't found an app that :
1.syncs (Things and Moleskine don't )
2. Offered multiple
hierarchic note options
(Evernote and Reqall don't )
3.offer multimedia inclusion and email of folders/notes (Reqall, Things don't )
C'mon developers! Let's get the full package!

I have been using Things.

I also have Evernote, but I do not see how to easily use it as a to-do app. I am not understanding the appeal of Evernote or Moleskinnery.

I reviewed Things in the review section. You can make a list (like a grocery list) if you make a project and make each item in the list a to do item. I did not want a separate list making and to do app. I make my kids school supply lists a project. Then each item they needed was an individual to do under that project so I got a shopping list in my to-do app. You can give each to do a date that it will show up in your "today" box. Then when you open the app, you have all the stuff that is due today, or due in a few days. You can have a due date separate than the date that it shows up in the "today" box. It is hard to explain if you are not actually using it. From the App store, there is a link the developer's website, and it has a good explanation.

If you have any question on Things, let me know I am happy to let you know. It is not perfect, but it is the best for me so far.

Yes, but you have to buy the desktop software. Things (http://culturedcode.com/things/)

I already pay for Mobile Me. I do not think I am going to pay $40ish for Things to sync to my Mac. It is OK just in my phone, anyway.

iprocrastinate is great for school but it doesnt sound like you want something like that
you basically create subjects and ad things to do or assignments in that subject
it badges the icon with how many assignments you have
