I also used it on my Blackberry. It was the best IM app, period!

well, of course, we all know its a free web app, but thats not the point. the point is that its good now, but it will be like 10 times better as a native app.

I hope BeeJive lives up to the hype. It seems MobileChat was a disappointment.

yeah, i think mc was less than expected, but it think its the best one so far due to the simple fact that its the only one that doesnt log you out when you exit it.
I have no doubt BeeJive will live up to the hype. They have always been that good.
Has anybody heard approx when this might be showing up?

The native AIM app doesnt log you out when you exit.

well I don't ever use aim so that's irrelevant to me...

True, but I was just pointing out that it isn't the only one. There are others that have this feature.
The UI looks horrible on this app. Who thought the thinking bubble looked nice?

I used BeeJive with my BB and loved it. I never had connection problems and their support was top notch. Someone mentioned the bubble UI was ugly, if this app is similiar to the BB app then you will have muliple options to choose from. Also, based on an email from BeeJive I was told to look for something next week.

The UI looks great to me and the picture of the pop up notification of someone sending you message when you chat with someone is great! I didn't buy Mobile Chat because i figured we will see more APPS and also until I see how the Notification works I won't buy any because It is always better to give it at least a week so the bugs can be addressed and you can purchase the program that best suits you. But Beejive is looking like a winner in my book.

I agree with you on the waiting until the verdict is in before buying an app. I have aim and palringo, but both were free. Beejive is looking promising. I've never used any version of it. I just really want the notification when I'm not in the app. But that's an apple thing. Every app will have that once apple allows them to.
