Every night I have to search the app store for new apps. Is there any way I can get alerted whenever a new application gets added? RSS?

Thanks for the RSS, normally I would just sort the full app store by date to at least see what comes out the day off.

That's been my method as well although I'm going to check out the RSS also.

Thanks for that RSS feed. I didn't realize how many apps were released on a daily basis.

It works fine. You can just click on it or add it to an RSS reader.

I see the problem. I did a cut and paste of the above link. and it has a "..." in it. It works for me when I load my RSS with the URL that I get to when I click the above given link (http://feeds.feedburner.com/RecentlyAddedIphoneApplications-PinchMedia?format=xml).

You just add an RSS feed and it alerts you when there is an addition. I have mine on my bookmarks bar on safari.

An RSS reader is a tool that will go off and check web pages and alert you when a change has been made to that page. In this instance we want our RSS readers to go to the page listed above and alert us when new applications come out.
The first thing you need is an RSS reader. There are HUNDREDS of them out there. As a matter of fact one of the iPhone applications is (you guessed it) an RSS reader. All you need to do is download a free RSS reader for either your iPhone or your PC. (I use SNARFER on my PC (Microsoft Outlook also has a built in RSS reader)). Install the application, put in the above address, press refresh an viola! You will be alerted to all the new applications out there. Let me know if this was helpful...

There are lots in the app store. Most you have to pay for. I think there's one called "simple rss" that is free.

So I just type in the website for the apps and simply rss will receive updates and stuff?

I personally use "Feeds ($.99) for my feed reader. It's probably one of the best ones out, imho of course. I can only assume it works the same general way with others. Whenever you open up the particular feed, it will search for anything new and update the feed on your device. I typed in the link that the Shawndre posted and worked perfect for me. Here's what it looks like when I add it to Feeds.

*Each application has it's own bar for clean organization*

*Looks nice when reading about the app*

I like this website: http://www.app-to-date.com/
Shows app descriptions and screenshots all laid out nicely. Easier to go through this than the app store itself.

I use google reader for all my RSS feeds. They have a great format for the iPhone http://www.google.com/reader/i, it is free to use if you have a gmail account. It loads fast even on edge.

A little off-topic here but I just saw a game called "Tilty Tennis." I had to do a double-take because I thought it said something else. :tounge:
