delete app problem

i know u can hold down the icons till they start to shake then hit the little X and delete it. But what if they start to shake but no X appears?? whats my next step?

Then that means it's a OEM app and can't be deleted

Examples: Calculator, Stocks, Weather, etc.

You can always move them to another page if you don't want them on the main page.
